This is an entry way door that was blown open and damaged by water during Hurrican Ike. A large piece of wood was broken off at the door lock area and lost in the storm. The damaged area was cleaned up and a new piece was fit and epoxied into place, The door was then touched-up in the damaged area.

The owner was not capable of making the repairs and stripping the rocking chair by himself. The rocking chair had been in his family for a very very long time and he wanted to feel like he was part of the resurrection process. He opted to do the refinishing work himself
